We have a purpose
Connection matters as much as the hobby.
Stitching in Color was created from our shared desire to build a space where people of color who love needlepoint feel truly seen, welcomed, and celebrated. We wanted to create more than just a group. We envisioned a supportive home for stitchers to grow their skills, explore their creativity, and connect with others who share similar experiences. At its heart, Stitching in Color exists to ensure that stitchers of color have access to a community that reflects them, supports them, and allows them to show up fully as they are.

Warm &
Welcome
It is a warm and welcoming space created for people of color who love NDLPT and want to nerd out with likeminded stitchers.
The group brings together stitchers of many backgrounds who enjoy learning together, talking about technique, and celebrating each other.
All about community
An inclusive needlepoint community where representation matters most.
We strive to provide a somewhat structured environment for stitchers to develop their skills, expand their creative practice, and engage with a supportive network of likeminded peers.

How It Works

These sessions provide ongoing opportunities for relationship building in a warm environment. In addition to our weekly meetings, Stitching in Color offers a range of programs and community benefits, including:
- Educational Intensives:

- Skill-Building Classes:
- Live virtual classes led by experienced instructors.
- Community Events:
- Gift exchanges, and annual retreats
- Exclusive Canvases and Merchandise:
- Member-only designs and product offerings
- Clinics and Bundles:
- Focused educational clinics that can be purchased individually, as well as curated bundles of clinics, organized around a shared theme or skill focus.
