Beading 101 with Deb Bryan is a structured, instructional clinic that teaches the foundations of needlepoint beading. Perfect for beginners or stitchers looking to strengthen their basics, this class covers essential techniques you can use across many projects.
Deb, who is Royal School of Needlework trained, will demonstrate techniques live on camera, sharing best practices, common pitfalls, and tips for choosing and applying beads with confidence. You can stitch along, follow step-by-step, or simply watch and take notes.
A materials list will be shared in advance, with the option to purchase Deb’s recommended supply bundle or use your own. The clinic will be recorded and available for replay, so you can revisit the techniques anytime.

Instructor — Deb Bryan
Based in the Charlotte area, Deb brings over 55 years of stitching experience to her work and teaching. She is the proprietor of Wooly Thread, an online shop specializing in threads and needlework supplies. After retiring from her career as a mechanical engineer, Deb now devotes herself to needlework full-time.
Deb has spent more than two decades studying needlework through classes with both national and international instructors. She holds a Certificate in Technical Hand Embroidery from the Royal School of Needlework and is currently completing her Diploma in the same discipline. She is also a Master Needlepointer certified by the American Needlepoint Guild.
Known for her enthusiastic and inclusive teaching style, Deb creates a welcoming learning environment for stitchers of all levels. She is deeply committed to helping students build confidence and skills wherever they are in their stitching journey. Deb is excited to stitch alongside you in this session.
